I've decided to do all the half-stitches first and fill in the pillows and blankets before filling in the cat in the middle. Of course, there's still some kitty that's going to get stitches, but most of him should be kept until the end.
When working on these, I'm always up so close, and you can't really see what the picture's supposed to look like, and it looks bad because you can see all the little mistakes that you've made where the stitches aren't lying quite like. I'm constantly surprised when I zoom out to look at the piece in its entirety how much better it looks, and that you can actually make out what the picture's supposed to be when you couldn't see it close up.
That ends this rotation, and next up is another new start: Provence Market.
